Nine precautions for the construction of stainless steel pipe fittings

2022 09/03

1. For the placement of stainless steel compression pipe fittings, it is necessary to prevent direct sunlight as much as possible. Security guards can be used not only for shielding protection.
2. When the stainless steel compression pipe fittings are stained with oil stains, be sure to scrub them. Especially at the pipe end and the EPDM sealing ring of the pipe fitting, determine whether there is any residue. If there is any residue, it should be removed immediately to prevent it from affecting its sealing.
3. The stainless steel compression pipe fittings are thin-walled stainless steel pipe fittings, which should be handled with care, and should not be thrown, let alone trampled on the pipe fittings during construction.
4. If the pipe fittings cannot be successfully placed in the pipeline, check whether the burrs of the lower pipe fittings have been thoroughly cleaned, especially the burrs on the inner and outer walls, because the burrs will harm the gap between the pipe fittings and the pipeline.
5. After the stainless steel compression pipe fittings are placed, they will not be temporarily clamped. The thread should be rotated first and then clamped to prevent the clamped connector from falling off due to the rotating thread.
6. If there is slack at the pressing place, you can press it again at the original pressing place (pay attention to the hexagonal orientation).
7. When the installation pipeline is skewed, the calibration cannot be taken at the position of the pipe fittings. Once the calibration is performed at the clamping point, it may cause relaxation, which is also an important factor causing poor sealing performance. It should be carried out at the straight pipe.
8. When the pipeline system is suitable for other media other than water (such as oil, chemical preparation, etc.), please communicate with the merchant to prevent the sealing ring of the pipe fittings from being corroded by the medium and swollen and damaged.
9. If the pipeline is installed around the bay or in a site with high salinity, anti-corrosion measures should be considered.
